SJB Comes Together in Generosity: Fall Donation Drive a Huge Success!
The spirit of generosity was alive and well at St. Jean de Brébeuf Catholic Secondary School as students and staff rallied together for this year’s Fall Donation Drive, held from October 14–31, 2025. Led with energy and enthusiasm by Student Council, the campaign invited the school community to donate non-perishable food items and toiletries — and the response was nothing short of inspiring!
Boxes filled quickly, classrooms competed in friendly challenges, and morning announcements kept the momentum going. What began as a simple call to service grew into a powerful display of teamwork, compassion, and faith in action. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Braves community, a large number of items were collected and donated to Neighbour 2 Neighbour and Wilma’s Place, supporting individuals and families right here in Hamilton.
Student Council was at the heart of the initiative — promoting the drive on social media, organizing collections, and spending the final day sorting, packing, and preparing the donations for delivery. Their leadership showed what happens when young people take charge and lead with purpose.
The Fall Donation Drive wasn’t just about filling boxes — it was about living our mission. It reminded us that even the smallest gift can make a big difference, and that when we act together, our impact grows. This annual tradition continues to shape not only the lives of those we serve, but the hearts of our students who are learning what it truly means to build a community rooted in faith, service, and love.
Thank you, Braves, for proving once again that kindness is powerful — and contagious.
“Let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.” — 1 John 3:18
