The 2026 Great Big Crunch at St. Jean de Brébeuf 🍎
Students at St. Jean de Brébeuf Catholic Secondary School took part in the The Great Big Crunch today, March 31, 2026, joining schools across Hamilton in celebrating healthy food and Nutrition Month.
The Great Big Crunch is a moment when students come together to bite into a crisp apple at the same time to celebrate nutritious food at school while also highlighting the importance of a universal, healthy school food program for all students across Canada.
Here at St. Jean de Brébeuf, students joined in the crunch, enjoying fresh apples generously provided through the Hamilton Tastebuds student nutrition program. The apples were supplied through the ongoing partnership with FirstOntario Credit Union and Drummond Farms.
