School Transportation Update: Ongoing delays due to bus driver shortage

A shortage of school bus drivers continues to impact school transportation service delivery at the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board.

Transportation services are managed by the Hamilton-Wentworth Student Transportation Services (HWSTS) consortium, and are shared between the Catholic and Public Boards. HWSTS is working with local bus companies to minimize the impact on students.

Parents of students who use student transportation to sign up on the transportation portal at to receive the latest transportation information as well as email notifications on late buses.
